How to log into website with FTP host information?

Our web guy gave me the FTP host information, host directory and the login and password. When I put the FTP host information in the address bar, it just takes me to our website. How do I log-in?

Hi Jen, You need to download the FTP software like FileZilla (http://filezilla-project.org/) you need enter the host name, host username, host password, Port number if provided by the hosting, the click on connect you will get connect to the files of your website, please be safer using FTP without awareness will create some problems in your website.
